2010 New Years Kayaking

Hard to believe we had the river to ourselves today:) Perfect kayaking weather-if you’re a penguin or if you’re dressed right. Had a few upgrades this year, so no frozen digits, even at 19 degrees. Yay! Those cute little hand and feet warmers rock, as did Alan’s idea to line the bottom of the yaks with our yoga mats. I was so toasty at one point I had to open my coat. See, the water bottles were frozen onto the line, so getting a drink was tough. (Camel pack should do the trick next time). Here’s to an amazing 2010 filled with fabulous food, fitness, and fun.
