Dr. lisa hautly
As a Doctor of Health Education and Certified Health Education Specialist, I research, promote, and improve wellbeing for individuals and organizations by developing whole health strategies for adults in their 30s/40s, midlife, and older populations. I do this through education, resource building, and the fostering of behavior changes. After many years in product marketing, I'm keenly aware of the influences that shape our health habits at each life stage. I promote long term wellbeing based on the following principles:
Wellbeing occurs at the intersection of physical, mental, social, intellectual, and spiritual health.
There’s no mystery to healthy, purposeful aging; it is attainable by improving our environment and daily health habits.
Wellbeing occurs on a continuum. Every choice is either making us more healthy or less healthy.
I currently serve my community as chair of the St. Louis County Older Adult Commission, as a board member for Mental Health America of Eastern Missouri, and on the Behavioral Health Network of St. Louis Advisory board. I received the 2015 Healthy Women Award from St. Luke’s Hospital for my commitment to personal and community health. I hold a BA in Public Relations, an MA in Marketing Communications, and completed my doctorate in Health Education in March 2019. My ideal day includes family, sunshine, and a paddle board.
I'm also excited to co-author the recently released Living the Innergized Life: Transforming ordinary moments into extra-ordinary memories!
