3 mile marathon

Definitely have been a lazy runner this summer. Lot’s of walk/runs, but rarely a big push since April’s half marathon. (Ya think post race recovery is over yet?) So this week it’s back to base building. Although swimming, blading, and kayaking are great workouts, I knew I needed the push. So 3 miles three times a week it is. Made it Wednesday and today. Not as easy as I thought! Amazing how much tougher it is to run than any other activity for me. Combined with weight training (more on that later), I’ll be back in the groove in a few.
